Marathon Madness!!

In case you didn't know, my hubby has been training to run a marathon for pretty much all of the summer. Well, a couple weeks ago, the goal and full marathon was upon us up in Montreal. It is a very nice city, however, basically everything is in French. (Where did those four years of French class go?? All I can remember is boulangerie!!! Eh, at least I can get some fresh bread!)

So during his training, he did a race that was longer than a half marathon, but shorter than a full, and some people had some pretty humorous signs they made. To help motivate my hubby, and other runners, I decided to make a sign too! I did an internet search, and found so many great signs, I just couldn't choose, so I made FOUR signs! I only had to technically carry around two though, because I made them double sided secured with funky duct tape. They were the perfect size to shove into my Camelbak day pack too. I'd also seen people at other races with t-shirts they made. They were either ones runners themselves had made for teams, or spectators had made as support teams. So of course I wanted to make a shirt too. And as my friend Nicole would tell you, all you need to know is PUFFY PAINT!!! :-p

So here are the signs and shirt I made for the event!! :-)

Front of shirt, this was his race number!
